SELANGOR, MALAYSIA – 17 March, 2025 – Selangor Red Giants Esports (SRG) and OG Esports, today announced a groundbreaking strategic global partnership aimed at elevating their presence and impact in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The collaboration will see a comprehensive exchange of expertise and resources, along with a significant co-branding initiative.

A key highlight of the partnership is the co-branding of Selangor FC’s esports division –  Selangor Red Giants Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team – for the duration of the year. SRG recently concluded a record-breaking year, claiming a historic first MLBB Esports title for Malaysia by winning MSC 2024 and becoming the first MY team to complete back-to-back MPL MY championship titles.This initiative will see the team compete under a combined brand, leveraging the strengths and recognition of both SRG and OG.

The partnership will extend beyond co-branding, encompassing a deep exchange of resources and expertise. Both organizations will share access to technical, media, merchandise, and marketing capabilities, fostering mutual growth and innovation. This collaboration will significantly strengthen both brands' presence in the competitive esports landscape.

Furthermore, the partnership aims to solidify and expand the fanbase of both organizations, particularly within the Dota 2 and MLBB community in the APAC region.
